Amy comes to AILH with a background in social services and education. During her work with a child abuse prevention agency, she offered families in-home education and support services. She participated in numerous training programs and social work conferences and is certified as a program coordinator for ACT Against Violence. Amy also taught parenting education classes at community centers and participated in team decision making with Child Protective Services.
In her free time, Amy enjoys bike riding on the Kapaa path, swimming, and hiking. She is a published author in the personal growth and self-transformation genre. Amy has a passion for peace advocacy and develops grassroots programs to promote peace worldwide.
