ALOHA INDEPENDENT LIVING HAWAII’S HILO OFFICE BURGLARIZED

On Tuesday, June 1, 2021, at around 4 a.m., unknown and unauthorized individuals broke into the office of non-profit organization Aloha Independent Living Hawaii (AILH) Hilo at 1055 Kino’ole Street and stole over $5,000 worth of technology.

The theft included a crucial external hard drive, which held sensitive information of our consumers statewide who received services from 2011 until now.  All present and former consumers are hereby notified that their personal information may have been compromised.

Hilo Police are handling this investigation but any help from the community is greatly appreciated.
