AILH is partnering with the Northern Marianas Club Hawaii in spearheading a donation drive to help the people of the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (CNMI) who were devastated by Super Typhoon Yutu on October 24, 2018. Hundreds of homes were destroyed and infrastructures damaged leaving the islands of Saipan and Tinian without any power and water. The people of the CNMI are in dire need of our assistance.
We are soliciting any assistance towards this typhoon relief drive and appreciate anything you can contribute. Through a generous donation from Matson Shipping Company, we now have the opportunity to fill a 40-foot shipping container with supplies that our people desperately need. We are currently coordinating with Marianas Young Professionals which is a 501(c)3 Non-Profit organization in Saipan to receive and distribute the donations.
