We were finally able to meet again! Our Youth Group, consisting of young adults with various disabilities, met the first Tuesday of the month from 1:30 – 4:30 p.m. at the Eagles Club in Kea’au (across from the Human Society). It was such a large lodge, social distancing was easy to do. Of course, masks were required, temperatures were taken at the door, and only two people were allowed to do an activity at once.
Today we did an art project that was very successful. I had them choose their river rock and a bright paint color to paint whatever they chose. Here are a couple of pictures that day!
Everyone was happy we were back doing our group!
