The Waipahu Community Association (WCA) in partnership with HART, Hawaiian Dredging Construction Company, Honua Consulting, Waipahu Town Center, Meridian Pacific Ltd., Waipahu High School, Hawaii Plantation Village and local businesses, developed the H.E.A.L Project. The goal of this initiative is to Help promote local businesses that have been adversely impacted by rail construction, Enhance community spirit, Attract new clientele and customers from across Oahu, and Learn and share information about current and future construction projects that affect Waipahu.
Patrick Watson of Honua Consulting and Mar-C Kaukani of Waipahu Community Association met with residents to discuss an upcoming event, “Our Youth Connecting with Aloha, that the H.E.A.L Project will be offering to the residents of Hale Kuhao in February. We are excited to be partnering with our community on this and other upcoming events.
