Aloha Independent Living Hawaii is always looking for opportunities to increase our impact on our local community –- and your gently-used clothing and household items can help us do this!
As you begin to clean your homes for the new year, please consider donating your items to AILH’s FUNDrive which will be held on Oahu between February 1-28, 2017. We can either pick-up your donation of goods or arrange a drop-off time at our Waipahu office.
The FUNDrive’s goal is to raise $1,000 to go towards AILH’s eight Peer Support Groups throughout the islands. Funds will enable these invaluable groups to continue to support individuals with disabilities in our communities. A portion of the funds will also go towards programs and services for the National Kidney Foundation of Hawaii.
Acceptable donations include: clothing, shoes, accessories, books, linens, and small household items (no furniture). Your donations are tax-deductible.
Aloha Independent Living Hawaii is holding this FUNDrive in partnership with Savers, a global thrift organization. Items collected during the drive will be sold to local Savers stores.
