Maui IL Specialist, Lani Cabanilla attended a training this week on Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC) at University of Hawaii, Maui College. The training attended by about 35 participants, covered the 4 R’s – Recognize, Respond, Rescue, and Report. She also learned how to use and apply a tourniquet to stop bleeding and how to apply a wrap to an injured area.
