In preparation for the holiday season and a reminder for safety, the Maui Support group had guest speakers Detective Adachi and Sargent Sagun at their meeting on Monday, September 23rd. They shared safety tips like being aware of new phone scams. A great tip to remember is: when in doubt, hang up and call a trusted family member or friend. Awareness is key and never, ever give out your personal information over the phone.
