Ms. Wheelchair America, an advocacy and education-based organization, is currently searching for women to represent Hawaii in the Ms. Wheelchair America National Competition. As a state titleholder, individuals will have the opportunity to raise awareness about disabilities, advocate for the disability community, and educate society on architectural and attitudinal barriers that impact people with disabilities. Interested applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Must be a woman
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must utilize a wheelchair for 100 percent of community mobility
- Marital status is not a consideration
