In celebration of the recently passed state law that requires movie theaters to provide open captioning for films, Maui Deaf Friends and AILH hosted “Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice” on April 4 at the Maui Mall Megaplex Cinema in Kahului. Free popcorn and ASL interpreters before and after the movie were made available by the partnership of Maui Deaf Friends and AILH. Stay tuned for more exciting events coming soon to Maui theaters.
