The Maui Vision Impairment Education and Peer Support Group recently gathered for a presentation by Susan Jung, Outreach Representative from Cap Tel phones. These phones are free to people with a hearing impairment and have other features such as a large print screen for captioning that works well for people who have combined hearing loss and low vision.  An enthusiastic group of 10 participants were thrilled to hear about this technology and other resources available to them.
