First Time Rider On the Move

Tama was hesitant to utilize the MEO para-transit system.  Maui IL Specialist, Lani Cabanilla, encouraged him to give it a try in order to increase his independence.  On Friday, August 17th, Tama took his first ride to Kahului for an appointment and was surprised at how pleasant the ride was.  He even had an extra special visit from Councilwoman and Mayoral candidate, Elle Cochran, who was on hand to send him off on his ride with his friendly driver.  Tama now looks forward to many more rides, enhancing his freedom and independence.
