My name is Joanne Pagan. I was born in Oahu and raised on the Big Island of Hawaii. From my upbringing I was taught to fully embrace and respect our elderly (kupuna). Whether blood relation or not, I have compassion for those who may have special needs, which has planted the seed of my passion for serving both community members.
I have been serving these consumers of our island community for nearly 15 years professionally with the Hawaii County Economic Opportunity Council. I have been the primary caregiver to both my parents up until both of their passing. The reward that I find in my job by transporting my consumers is beyond a paycheck, the reward runs much deeper as each consumer becomes part of my family (ohana).
My family and friends will tell you, without a doubt, that my loyalty and dedication is seen each and every day in both my professional and personal life. I take pride I what I do and will always go above and beyond for those that depend on me. I am veryappreciative and excited to begin my new journey with Aloha Independent Living Hawaii.
