AILH together with Squeaky Wheels Hawai’i attended the KUKULU HOU Housing Fair to advocate for accessible housing and visitable homes. Many attendees appreciated the concept of Universal Design that ensures home owners increased accessibility to avoid any future need to remodel their homes. This concept supports an overall more livable and inclusive community.
