Four of our IL Specialists were enlightened at a valuable workshop yesterday and were presented with an exciting variety of assistive technology (AT) devices and services. Presenters discussed and demonstrated AT tools and strategies for the workplace, academic environment, and home. Participants also learned more about Augmentative Alternative Communication (AAC) and Apple Tools.
This workshop was provided through a partnership between the Hawaii & Pacific Deaf-Blind Project, Easter Seals Hawaii, and the Assistive Technology Resource Centers of Hawaii and sponsored in part by the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation.
