Aloha Independent Living Hawaii’s TeleConnect program is designed for people with disabilities who have been impacted by the pandemic. We aim to sooth the pressures of social isolation by providing a device, internet connection, and training to those previously unable to connect online. Consumers participating in the project receive a new iPad or iPhone SE 2020 that best suits their needs. These devices are ideal for communication and will remain connected to the Verizon Wireless network until September 2021. Each individual receives their device as well as physical and digital training materials to ensure they can successfully connect with their family, friends, and health professionals for years to come.
