The Oahu team represented AILH as an exhibitor at the 2020 Pacific Rim International Conference on Disability and Diversity (known as PAC Rim) on March 2 and 3.
In its 35th year, Pac Rim is widely recognized as an international and diverse gathering where the participants represent diversity, share the human experiences associated with disability, increase understanding through interdisciplinary research and best practice, and provide action plans to address social needs. The five main conference topics of this year were health & wellbeing, employment, education (Pre-K to Grade 12), postsecondary education, and inclusion.
AILH has been supportive of PAC Rim for many years, and had an interactive game for participants at their table. Thank you to the Center on Disability Studies for hosting yet another successful PAC Rim conference!
