As we all know, the Big Island is just that, BIG! AILH has launched a private Facebook group, designed especially to bring together the entire island’s Deaf and Hard of Hearing Community. We hope to bring together many old and new friends and “meet” regularly without anyone ever having to leave their home. This Facebook group page will provide a venue to check-in with one another, share about community services and resources, post current events, share contacts for certified interpreters, and much much more. The group already has many members sharing positive feedback and enjoying this social media connection.
