Big Island IL Specialist, Karin Riedel, assisted consumer, Paul Pascua, with writing his testimony to present to the County Council in favor of the new Hele-on Kakoo Paratransit system on the Big Island. Thanks to this new transportation system, Paul is now able to independently travel to the mall and other locations throughout his community for the first time. Paul and several other community members were also testifying before the Committee on Public Safety and Mass Transit that the fare being proposed is too expensive.
