1st Annual Molokai Keiki Fest
April 26, 2018
The 1st Annual Keiki Fest was held on Molokai at the Mitchell Pauole Community Center on April 21, 2018. Hosted by the Molokai Community Action Team, the Keiki Fest was created to promote ohana well-being. The Community Action Teams (CAT) were organized in 2011 with one mission in mind: to provide sexual violence prevention awareness and activities in their respective communities.
Local organizations, non-profit agencies, State and County representatives, all joined hands to bring the Keiki Fest to our Molokai community. Providing a positive event to acknowledge Child Abuse Awareness and Prevention Month, approximately 400 families were able to celebrate their keiki through activities, games, entertainment, and food.
Molokai IL Specialist, JulieAnn Agliam was on hand to greet families and share about our services. Keiki enjoyed playing the AILH ring toss game much to their delight.
