New Support Group Begins in Hilo

A new support group will be starting in Hilo for parents, siblings, and family members of individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing.  The group will be facilitated by Pam Bond and Emily Bartlett-Henry and will focus on practicing American Sign Language (ASL) and providing peer support for one another.  The first meeting will be held on November 16 from 3:00 – 4:00 p.m. in the ADRC Training Room at 1055 Kinoole Street.  The group will convene every third Thursday of the month at the same time and place.  For more information please contact our Hilo office at (808) 339-7297.
